Build the Future of AI

The Collective AI is a Canadian AI product lab where engineers, designers, and strategists ship intelligent systems that replace repetitive work at scale. We hire across Canada on a remote-first basis, combining rigorous execution with a culture that values clarity, ownership, and long-term craft. If you want your work to land in production and matter to real businesses, we would like to hear from you.

Why Work With Us

We are headquartered in Canada and build for a global client base. That means thoughtful collaboration across time zones, documentation that holds up under pressure, and respect for how people actually work. You will join a small, senior-minded team where decisions are made close to the work, feedback is direct, and the mandate is simple: ship reliable AI systems that organizations can depend on.

Remote-First

Work from anywhere in Canada with flexible schedules and async-friendly rituals. We invest in clear communication, shared context, and tools that keep distributed teams aligned without constant meetings.

Cutting-Edge Technology

We work at the intersection of large language models, data infrastructure, and product design. You will touch modern stacks, evaluate new capabilities critically, and apply them where they genuinely improve outcomes.

Impact-Driven Work

Every project ties back to measurable operational change: fewer manual steps, faster response times, better customer experience. We prioritize work that compounds for clients and avoids novelty for its own sake.

Growth & Learning

The field moves quickly; so do we. Expect mentorship, room to lead initiatives, and space to deepen your craft in engineering, design, or go-to-market as you grow with the company.

Open Positions

Below are representative roles we are actively recruiting for in Canada. If your background is adjacent, we still encourage you to apply and tell us how you would contribute. We review every application with care.

Senior AI Engineer

Remote, Canada Full-Time

Lead the design and implementation of production AI systems. You will own model integration, evaluation, guardrails, and performance under load, partnering closely with clients to translate messy workflows into reliable automation. Strong software engineering fundamentals and experience shipping LLM-powered features are essential.

Product Designer

Remote, Canada Full-Time

Shape how users and operators experience our AI products. From conversation flows to dashboards and handoff moments, you will balance usability with trust, transparency, and accessibility. We look for systems thinkers who prototype quickly and collaborate tightly with engineering.

Solutions Architect

Remote, Canada Full-Time

Guide enterprises from discovery through technical design. You will map integrations, data boundaries, and security expectations, then translate them into architectures our team can build and operate. Excellent communication and a pragmatic grasp of cloud and API ecosystems are key.

Business Development Lead

Remote, Canada Full-Time

Identify and nurture partnerships across Canada and beyond. You will articulate our value proposition to technical and executive audiences, qualify opportunities, and work with delivery to scope engagements that set everyone up for success. Experience selling complex B2B technology is a strong plus.

Our Hiring Process

We keep our process respectful of your time while ensuring mutual fit. Typical timelines vary by role, but you can expect transparency at each stage.

Application review. We read your materials in full and assess alignment with the role, our stage, and the kind of problems we solve. A tailored note on why The Collective AI matters to you always helps.

Introductory conversation. A 30-minute video call to learn about your experience, motivations, and how you like to work. We share more about the team, our clients, and what success looks like in the first year.

Skills conversation. Depending on the role, this may include a technical discussion, a design critique, a lightweight architecture scenario, or a business case walkthrough. The goal is to understand how you reason under real constraints, not to trip you up with trivia.

Team alignment. You will meet additional colleagues from engineering, product, or leadership. We focus on collaboration style, communication, and shared standards for quality and integrity.

Offer and onboarding. When we extend an offer, we provide clear compensation, benefits oriented to Canadian team members, equipment guidance, and an onboarding plan so you can contribute meaningfully from week one.
